Hey guys! I’m Christy and I’m so fortunate to be on this journey called life married to my best friend and mother of three sweet little ones who are the beats in my soul. I love coffee, sunshine on my face, being near the water, anything historic, interior design (and redesign and redesign, as my husband would say!), and the laughter of my babies!
My love of capturing tiny moments (and big moments!) in our everyday life is what has driven me to pursuing my passion doing the same for other families. I strive to give my clients images that make their heart flutter and even skip a beat, when they see the moments that are preserved forever. You may take for granted a sweet moment with your daughter as you brush the hair out of her face and you may not even notice how your son is beaming at you as you help him tie his shoe–so I want to be able to show you! I want to give you more than photos–I want you to have memories of these fleeting moments to have forever.
Years down the road, I want my clients to be able to look at their photos and remember what it was like to hold their daughter’s tiny hand…remember what it was like to hold their newborn in the first weeks of life…remember how their sons chased each other out in the yard…remember what it was like to watch their daughter twirl in her dress with her hair blowing in the wind. I want to make sure they never forget.
So, Why “Hold You Me”?
I get asked this all of the time. Around the time when each of my babies were 2, toddling around the house and just starting to put sentences together, “hold you me” was my favorite phrase that each of them have said. Those words struck me right in the heart and how could I not drop what I was doing and hold them? Nothing could be sweeter or more important–they are only little once! To me, there is nothing better than the sound of my baby’s pitter-patter feet, running to me with open arms, saying “hold you me”.
