Britton’s Mom Chris contacted me a while back asking for a senior session in the fall, when the leaves were at their peak. We couldn’t have timed it more perfectly because as I drove out to their family farm, the leaves were bursting with color. I pulled down their lane to their picturesque farm house nestled in between cow pastures. Britton has love for her farm and the cows that she shows and raises there, so she couldn’t think of a better place for her senior session than right at home.
Britton is a senior and enjoys being involved with the school’s FFA club. I learned that there are strict regulations regarding the wear of this jacket, but tossing it over her shoulder made for a perfect pose.
There were lots of little spaces on their farm that made for perfect backdrops; the barns, the fields, fences, swings, tractors and even the cows!
As I said, the leaves were absolutely perfect and when you have a girl as gorgeous as Britton in front of your lens, its hard to get a bad shot.
Britton invests so much of her time into her cows and I loved that she wanted to get some photos with them. The one adorable white cow with black ears stood out and I swear he kept posing right along with Britton.
It was awesome to see the interaction between Britton and these animals. You can tell so much about a person by how they are with animals- and there is a lot to be said for this senior…
…Not only by how devoted she is to her own animals but she also plans on attending Penn State University to become a teacher to educate others about caring for animals.
We finished off the session with some beautiful light pouring around barn where she spends so much time. I hope she and her family remember this session and can look back at these photos of Britton on her farm when she is away at college and remember how special this place has been to her. Best of luck to Britton on the rest of her senior year at United and all the best wishes at Penn State! WE ARE!!
